Landing Language
The images below are part of a series entitled "Landing Language" which comes from a larger series of work entitled "Touching Ground". This work was created with interacting with the natural world using white cotton gloves. This type of glove is often used to handle precious items with extra care.
At first the gloves interacted in various ways with natural forms, then they began to take the form of birds and words. The words often came from a particular line of thought from my morning writing practice which I then wanted to take to the land where I found myself. The interaction of the meaning of the words within the various landscapes fascinate me.
